400mg daily dose of Gleevec, and monthly monitoring of my blood counts

I am talking an oral drug called Gleevec. I am fortunate to be living in an age where a treatment like this is available, because it has the ability to shut down the CML near its core and maintain the disease in a largely dormant state - likely resulting in a normal life expectancy.
